Letter From the RESS

Welcome to the University of Regina Faculty of Engineering!

Welcome to the University of Regina Faculty of Engineering!
It is exciting to welcome new students and returning to the 2020/2021 Regina Engineering Students’ Society (RESS).
An education in engineering is challenging, has a large workload, and can be stressful. However the rewards of
obtaining this degree and the opportunities it will provide you in the future outweigh these challenges. Connecting
with engineering students and engaging in the social aspects of engineering will help you academically and enrich
your university experience. The RESS strives to provide students with resources and support to be successful in
classes as well as the opportunity to increase your learning through participating in competitions and conferences.
Socially the RESS is very active in holding several events each semester to bring students together and have fun.
There are many opportunities for students to get involved in university life, we encourage you to join the RESS, other
engineering clubs, join intramural sports teams and attend events. The RESS Council is honoured to represent our
student Members and look forward to seeing you in the lounge and at events.
